PayPal Shields EBay Fake Flash Seller 3ToTrade – Odyssey of FlashDad

Paypal – deaf and dumb, this is the conclusion of eBayers claiming against fraudulent sellers of usb fake flash drives on eBay. Are there any real employees at PayPal? eBayers are assaulted by email templating from mindless robotic emailers. They suspect that those clicking on the templates to select responses have an IQ no greater than 10. This is astonishing and very hard to believe. Is technology overruling common sense in a effort to save pennies?

We have reviewed too many communications sent to eBayers and have one conclusion – those operating the dispute console have no room to use their intelligence – the robotic templates control.

The language which follows is for mature audiences only. SOSFakeFlash will not censor the emotions of those frustrated by PayPal, eBay or Fake Flash Sellers. We do code the identity of those who come forward and will remove information which leads to personal identification.

Presented is the story of FlashDad, who followed procedure and filed a claim at PayPay, naively believing there was something called “Buyer Protection“.

Note: in PayPal communications, numbers are blanked out by PayPal in responses with “#”. We find this most annoying.

The communications are presented in reverse chronological order:

Hi xxxxxxxx take your time and read the information which i recieved and sent to Paypal, my case has been cancelled because i failed to provide information to Paypal. Supposedly!

Read the whole Fucking lot, Paypal, and tell me how i failed to respond to requests for additional “information about this claim”. Paypal never requested additional information at all, they requested me to send back the item even given the fact that it is illegal to send counterfiet products through the postal system in Sweden.

Sent to PayPal:

What a load of bullshit. You guys requested that i sent the item back to the fraudster seller which is against the law here in Sweden, given the fact that it was counterfiet. I have contacted you on several occassions leading up to the end of this claim and have not recieved one response from you at all and i have all the records of my correspondence to Paypal. Paypal sucks and i will be taking this matter further to have Paypal and its behaviours investigated because it is now proven after you failed to resolve my case that you support these fraudsters in their mission to fleece the market with counterfiet products and rob genuine buyers like myself and many others in order for Paypal to get its share of money out of it all. The end is far from over in this case, even considering that Paypal is incapable of concluding that 3totrade is frauding E-Bay worldwide! The proof is in the pudding Paypal, how much damning evidence do i need to provide for you to justify my claim.

I guess i am expecting to much from such an incapable service that treats its customers with automated responses and does “Fuckall” to help the hand that feeds this service.

Welldone Paypal you have lost one regular customer and i gaurantee there will be thousands more to follow. Keep up the POOR work!

We are very confused. PayPal ignored the information presented by FlashDad but spouts:

PayPal does not tolerate fraud or illegal activities. Your complaint has been noted in the record of the PayPal user you reported. If we find this user has violated our policies, we will investigate and take appropriate action. If this occurs, you may be contacted in the future about the status
of this complaint.

You are invited to see the current tally for fake flash drives that have been investigated and confirmed to be fakes for 3ToTrade at this site. This we must stress, only represents a fraction of the eBayers who bought drives from this fake flash usb drive seller. As of September 14th we have 94 on file.

Hi, Thanks for your Reply, what you dont seem to understand is that it is illegal in swedish Law to ship anything countrefiet or fake through the postal system which means that i cannot ship the item back to the seller given this law. It appears nonetheless that whatever the circumstances are Paypal require me to ship the item back in order for me to recieve a refund. That proves that Paypal are supporting these criminals and fraudsters with their crimes and leaving us genuine people out there that are funding paypal in the lerch. This will be going further as it is obvious that you dont understand the legality of all this. Read my email that i wrote to you first which is below here. Try to understand what it says and do not attach an automated reply to this response as it does nothing to help my case that is open with you. If you cant manage the case then pass it on to someone that can. Thanks

FlashDad’s Original Message To PayPal complaint-response

Original Message Follows:

Hi, i have a current case open in the resolution center case number PP-xxx-xxx-xxx and have recieved an offer from the seller via Paypal for a full refund on the condition that i return the counterfiet product that the seller sold to me via E-bay. However due to my countries laws, it is illegal for anyone to post counterfiet, fake items through the postal system and Paypal should already know that this is also illegal and should not by any means support this kind of activity at all.

I have a clean account both on Paypal as well as ebay and have become victim to fraudsters and find it hard to believe that Paypal are supporting this activity through its claims process by ordering the return of an illegal product before a refund is granted. The seller #totrade is under investigation as we speak and there is literally ###´s of victims from the same seller, going through the same process as i am in order to be refunded under the same conditions that paypal is requesting me to do.

I am horrified by paypals request and want this to be further investigated. I refuse to send the counterfiet item back to the seller with the reason being that once the item is sent even with a tracking number it appears that the seller is claiming that the item has not arrived and therefor applies an undelivered or unpaid strike to your name on E-bay. This has happened on several occasions already with reports from other victims warning us about the sellers activity.

Please open my case file and go through the details carefully and inform me on my next step. The resolution center is awaiting my response and as i said i am not going to put myself in the position to post illegal objects and become victim again, especially when the seller is recieving the returned items and claiming that they have not arrived and striking everyone that has paid for there items with an unpaid strike. Contact me immediately with a reply to where i should go from here. Thanks FlashDad

It is very clear that FlashDad like so many other eBayers has tried to warn PayPal and like so many others PayPal IGNORED. If PayPal continues to ignore eBayers warning about Fake Flash Sellers on eBay, continues to shelter and protect these sellers then unfortunately PayPal is likely to find itself being held accountable.

Afterall it is PayPal who writes:

PayPal does not tolerate fraud or illegal activities.

in their email template responses, not us. They are NOT living up to their claim.
